BCP Council has over 10 Miles of Beaches, with Bournemouth Beach being the most popular and busiest of the beaches.

It is a Blue Flag beach that was awarded number one beach in the UK by Trip Advisor in 2024 and twentieth best beach in Europe at the 2024 Traveller's Choice Best of the Best Awards for Beaches, being praised for it's cleanliness and stunning views.
